Turks and Europe: The martyrs of Otranto, 1480

In the summer 1480, the Turks of Acmet Pascià besieged Otranto.
They entered into the town with force and gathered the surviving men.
The inhabitants were brought on the near hill of Minerva and were obliged to deny Christ.
Those men chose the death.
