Restaurazione: Edmund Burke
Edmund Burke (1729-1797) vide nella rivoluzione francese il pericolo mortale di uno Stato totalitario in grado di distruggere tutti i delicati legami su cui si fonda una società libera. Con grande anticipo, da acuto osservatore, aveva saputo prevedere il terrore rivoluzionario.
The Restoration: Edmund Burke
Edmund Burke (1729-1797) saw in the French Revolution the fatal danger of a totalitarian State that is able to destroy all the fragile bonds on which a free society bonds itself. He was a bright observer that could foresee in advance the revolutionary terror.
