II Guerra mondiale: Guerra in Africa
L'entrata in guerra dell'Italia aveva allargato l'area dei combattimenti anche al Mediterraneo e all'Africa. Gli scontri proseguirono soprattutto in mare e nel deserto, ma anche in altre aree del continente nero, e si protrassero sino alla disfatta di Al-Alamein (luglio 1942).
2nd World war: War in Africa
The entry of Italy into the war enlarged the fighting area to Mediterranean and Africa also. The encounters continued especially on the sea and in the desert, but even in other areas of black continent too and protracted until the defeat of Al-Alamein (July 1942).
