Tomb of Peter: Tomb of Paul
There is another “Apostolic memory” in Rome: the tomb of the Apostle Paul. Similar to the location of Peter's tomb, there is an overwhelming evidence and testimony for Paul's tomb: “I can point out the ‘tropaia’ of the Apostles; for if you go to the Vatican or the Ostian Way, you will find the ‘tropaia’ of those who founded this Church”. According to the most recent archaeological researches, beneath Saint Paul's Basilica Outside-the-Walls, in Rome, resides the tomb of the Apostle of the Gentiles.
