Robert A. Sirico, sacerdote statunitense di origini italiane, fondatore e presidente dell'Acton Institute, è oramai un punto di riferimento per intellettuali, imprenditori e politici che scorgono nella libera impresa e nel sistema di mercato una profonda dimensione morale della libertà. Dal confronto tra la dottrina del libero mercato e la tradizione cristiana, infatti, si sviluppa una società "libera e virtuosa".
Free market: Robert Sirico (1951)
Robert A. Sirico, an American priest with Italian background, is the founder and chairman of Acton Institute. He is recognised as the model for intellectuals, entrepreneurs and politicians who realize the profound moral dimension of the free market. In fact, combining the Christian tradition and the doctrine of the free market, a "free and virtuous" society is developed.
