Si parla di Maria Montessori (1870-1952) come una sorta di «mostro sacro» della padagogia le cui impostazioni educative giammai possano essere discusse o addirittura criticate. Ad iniziare dal modo con cui, rinnovando il dogma del credo rousseauiano, ha concepito la bontà originaria della natura del fanciullo e dal modo con cui il mondo infantile viene considerato: uno stadio felice ed incontaminato, anziché una fase da cui maturare.

Maria Montessori (1870-1952) is considered a kind of «sacred monster» of the pedagogy, whose pedagogical tendency never could be discussed or even criticized. Beginning from the way she thought the primordial goodness of the nature of the little boy and the way she considered the child's world, renewing the dogma of the belief of Rousseau: a happy and uncontaminated time, instead of a period of growth.
